The 2013 Exhibit in recognition of the 75th Anniversary of the Hurricane of 1938 is OPEN! Here is a preview of the exhibit. The exhibit includes a personal scrapbook donated by The Stevens Family with extensive notes throughout. Two maps showing the extent of the flooding in the local area and the extent of the damage in Westhampton Beach are on display. Several other local families, also shared their personal stories and photos of that momentus time in their lives. A 10 minute slide show presentation explains details about The Hurricane and tidal wave and ends with a short film taken by a local resident on September 22, 1938. Several publications are available with personal account by local residents of the memorable day. Come see it all for yourself!
